Want to explore the realms of history, nature, or aviation through an artist's eyes?

Want to see the evolution of a painting during its creation?

You've come to the right place!

My artwork provides a visual feast of historical buildings (lighthouses and churches), wild (and not so wild) animal life (horses, deer, and cats), and historic aircraft, all realistically painted in true-to-life detail.

But don't just take my word for it. Cruise around my website and discover for yourself.

I have been drawing and painting since I was old enough to hold a pencil, crayon, or paint brush. I majored in art at Michigan State University and have won several local and regional art contests and have sold commissioned paintings.

Here at Ride The Wild Brush, you can buy not just prints and posters of my artwork but also a constantly expanding variety of other products with my artwork vividly portrayed on them—mugs, posters, note cards...

Any of them would make a thoughtful gift!

My work has been sold through art galleries and gift shops from California to Michigan. One of my lighthouse paintings was purchased by Michigan Technological University's Van Pelt Library for its permanent collection, and one of my aviation paintings was displayed for a year in the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (the result of a juried art contest).

If you find a painting you particularly like and must have the original, contact me via my easy online form and we can discuss the price. These are not rapid-fire, slap-dash creations but artwork lovingly created and exquisitely detailed. Prices for the originals reflect the time, attention, and skill (earned through a lifetime of painting) invested in them.
